I have begun the process of releasing my husband’s ashes into bodies of water he knew and loved. This one was done in Ocean City, Maryland on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. I etched some words and a heart into wet sand and sprinkled some ashes in the heart. One of his nicknames for me was “rosebud” so I placed some there as well. Then I waited for the surf to take them out to sea.

I remember going to the cinema to watch the film of which this car was the star. Chitty Chitty bang bang. Anyone else remember it… Ps. if you do you are officially old.

Gathering Spot

No place to go when you reach the end of the canyon at Starved Rock State Park in Illinois.

I’m sure it would be more interesting if there were water flowing over the cliff.
