There has been lots of talk recently about Spitsbergen and Greenland. Here in Norway Pyramiden is an almost abandoned Russian Mining town on the archipelago.
I took this while sailing into the harbour on a visit here. You can see how it got its name.

Cryptogram, Tomales Bay

Looking out over a totally frozen Great South Bay towards the Captree Bridge and Fire Island on a bitter cold day.


The expression “the best camera is the one you have with you” certainly applied here. I forgot my camera and my iphone 16 pro came to my rescue. Taken one snowy morning in Baltimore County.
