This is a driveby shot. She looked so cute with her mother’s umbrella I couldn’t resist taking the shot.
Night WalkBlack And White Photography, Cheryl, Photography
Taken from our porch in East Baltimore late one Fourth of July.
A lot of people waited until the Inner Harbor fireworks were over to walk their dogs.
Knapps MistBlack And White Photography, Cheryl, Photography
Taken one morning at Knapps Narrows, a cut in Maryland that joins the Chesapeake Bay to the Choptank River. The bridge you see in the background, that connects people from the mainland to Tilghman Island, is the busiest drawbridge in the US.
Mothers HandBlack And White Photography, Cheryl, Photography
I love taking photos of trick or treaters. My husband and I sit on our front steps with our dogs and hand out almost four hundred treats in a couple of hours. This little girl was holding onto her mother with one hand and had her bag of treats in the other.
MoonlitBlack And White Photography, Cheryl, Photography
A sycamore by moonlight in Patterson Park in East Baltimore.

This scene made me laugh and I hope you’ll enjoy it as well. They reminded me of little kids who just had to look.
Taken in Cambridge, Maryland USA
Plymouth LightningBlack And White Photography, Cheryl, Photography
Taken one very hot summer night in Plymouth, Massachusetts. I lucked out capturing the lightning bolt as this was taken without long exposure or bulb.
Faith Over FearBlack And White Photography, Cheryl, Photography
I have no idea who does it but someone places signs like this in random locations on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I saw another similar to this one over a year ago. When I got around to driving there to take the shot it was gone. This time I had to drive several miles to turn around and did so because I didn’t want to miss it. He/she posted two in this location so I have one more.

I try not to take shots of homeless individuals but this scene grabbed me, especially since the face was not involved.
Hidden FacesBlack And White Photography, Cheryl, Photography
I took this shot at Hampdenfest in Baltimore a few years ago. The timing of the balloon on her mother’s face was what caught my eye.
