I was having difficulty sleeping so my husband and I went out for a shoot. Well, he drove and I hopped out along the way to take shots. There was a lot of mist in the air which made shapes much more dramatic against the black sky. I took this at 4am in the Harbor East area of Baltimore.
Taken in Baltimore on 11/3/21. I like the way the light shone on her and the background of the garden painted on the walk behind her.
Canon 5D3 with 24-70mm f/2.8
Taken in the east Baltimore neighborhood of Butchers Hill very early one winter morning.
This shot, taken in a shop window in East Baltimore, reminds me of the macabre state of affairs that must exist in most hospitals during the Covid-19 crisis.
I was out searching for people moving in and out of shafts of light and was not having any luck. Just as I was about to give up he walked in front of me and the light highlighted his face. He saw me but I didn’t care.
Sony a7iii – 24-105mm
Taken on the steps of the St Stanilas Church in East Baltimore. I was taken by the scale and how small the people looked compared to the imposing arches.
