While out wondering around on a foggy Duluth day, I came upon this broken and twisted clump of trees.  I felt it had so much character, especially in the fog.

It was getting a bit dark for me to be out on the trail by myself … but then I saw this and knew that I was there at the right time.  Thank goodness I was using my cell phone to track my mileage!
