I was walking around Boston one day and came upon this scene that reminded me of the work of André Kertéz, one of my favorite photographers. I think we can learn a lot by occasionally trying to emulate another’s style, as long as we don’t make a habit of the practice!

Olympus OMD EM1 with Zuiko 9-18mm zoom, a lens that I believe is underrated.

My daughter had her birthday this week and I got her to pose for me. It wasn’t that difficult she does a bit of part-time modelling. This wasn’t planned and prepared so it’s kind of hit and run, but I like this shot.
