This is Billy and he’s my other great nephew (aka Erik’s big brother). He’s older now and as I explained in last weeks post I was experimenting with switching camera brands to a lighter and more portable system. I was having difficulty sleeping so my husband and I went out for a shoot. Well, he drove and I hopped out along the way to take shots. There was a lot of mist in the air which made shapes much more dramatic against the black sky. I took this at 4am in the Harbor East area of Baltimore.
I’ve stalked out this public soccer field several different times before finally capturing an interesting composition with long late afternoon shadows.
