As I walked down a tiny lane in Kastraki, Greece, I came across several Pomegranate trees laden with fruit. Having never lived in a place where they grow naturally, it was such a treat to see!

Hello to all, it’s good to be back on Monochromia as a main contributor. After taking some time to attend to other obligations which reduced my ability to spend as much time as I wanted enjoying photography, I’m getting out more often again. For those who haven’t seen my work, much of it is from northern Minnesota and the shore of Lake Superior. However, I do travel outside my home in Duluth and always have my cameras at the ready.

This image is from a night when I was attempting to photograph the northern lights. I found this dark location by a cemetery which became my focus while waiting for the sky to cooperate.
