Winter in Southern California
Black And White Photography, Photography
A boy runs in the surf during the golden hour at the beach in Santa Monica. While the rest of the country is busy shoveling snow and trying to keep warm, those of us in SoCal are suffering through a drought and unseasonably warm weather. And by suffering I mean enjoying playing in the surf in late November.

What I love about photography is that it allows me to explore plenty of places I would not have had any reason to go earlier. When I go with my camera, the place where I go does not really matter because I know for sure I’ll find interesting things to photograph. It seems the more I’m heading nowhere, the more chances I have to find interesting things.
Here I found an old tractor on a beach. I do not really know what a tractor is doing on a beach, but I found it quite interesting.

Black And White Photography, Emilio, Photography“Nope!”
“Why not?”
“Too cold.”
“You’re joking, right?”
“Nope.”
“That’s like a Vapor wetsuit.”
“Right? Five hundred dollars!”
“That should keep you warm.”
“You think? I’m dying in it.”
“So go on in.”
“You’re joking! And ruin the look?”
“The look?”
“Chicks dig the look. I haven’t been in the ocean in about 3 years. I just stand at the edge of the water and wait. Never go home alone.”
“Dude, you’re giving us real surfers a bad name.”
