An iconic landmark on the St. Petersburg skyline, the Peter and Paul Fortress harks back to the early sixteenth century. In this image I attempted to recapture the building’s historical nature with some grain and a slight blue colour cast.

I’m a sucker for farm animals. Especially the friendly, curious ones like this who had learned that people would offer an apple core or a scratch on the head. HOw could they not?

My other big pastime is cycling I took this on a visit to the Lee Valley Velodrome in London. I even got to cycle around it for an hour. One of the bucket list.
