
There are moments in street photography that last only a fraction of a second. A child runs along the fountain on a blazing summer day, surrounded by exploding water and backlight. For me, it was the silhouette that made the image. No face, no colours, just movement, light and the joy of being completely lost in the moment. Sometimes monochrome is all you need to tell the story.
