THE LEAVES OF SPRING
It’s happening again as it does every year.
The bleak days of winter begin to yield to sunnier ones,
And leaves and colorful buds suddenly appear.
Grass greens, and wildflowers begin to dot the fields.
Birds are coming home, bringing their cheerful song.
It is March. Spring is returning.
