I think barbers, like bartenders, must see just about everything. I didn’t know the guy getting the Mohawk haircut, but Tony has been cutting his hair for a few years. Turns out he’s a substitute teacher. Times have changed.

Last Friday I attended a mini-concert by a popular Norwegian band Trang Fødsel. (Translation: Difficult Birth). At the end the Bass player got up on his bass to thank the crowd.

ADVICE TO YOUNGER SELF

I have started a new project where I ask the subject one question, “If you could meet your younger self, what one piece of advice would you give to him/her?”  These men were in front of the Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission. All three answered the same way, “Don’t drink or take drugs”.  Then I took their picture.
