I said some weeks ago that I will be getting back to a more analogue way of doing things. This involved me lugging around( with smile on my face I might add) my Hasselblad and a 40mm lens. I did a series of lighthearted – lets call them snaps some years back I called @work. Just taken at work of people I could persuade to get in front of the camera. So this is a repeat of that. Anders is a much better photographer than me so I was pleased he didn’t mind me taking this shot of him during a break.

Office Greeter

I left the house on Thursday thinking “oh my goodness, I need to schedule a photo for Monochromia”.  This thought was quickly followed by “when am I going to be able to find time to do some shooting?”

Then I got to my office, jumped out of the truck, and saw this guy walking on the sidewalk in front of the door to my office.  Aren’t the patterns wonderful?  If you’d like to see the colors, visit my personal blog space and see the Instagram photo that I shared.

This tree has always drawn me to it early in the morning spring and fall. The light is low and the shadows are wonderful. The building across the street is a wonderful in it’s design. The out of focus clouds and building really give an interesting feel to this image. Leica M-P 240 w/Leica 35mm Summicron.

One of the gorillas at the Como Park zoo in St. Paul, Minnesota.  I can’t help wondering what he is thinking as we all stand around and stare at him as he stares back at us.
