Behinds the ruins of an abandoned home, I found this cool, decrepit old greenhouse. The poison ivy prevented me from getting any closer!

Working a few days a week in Uptown Charlotte, I’ll often carry my camera to capture street, architectural, or urban cityscape photos to and from my work office. This past week, I was in the right place at the right time to capture these two workers cleaning the windows of the Charlotte Plaza Building. Or are they really just cleaning the sky?

I work in Charlotte a few days a week and enjoy scoping out architectural pattern play and street photography. Captured this composition a few weeks ago from 3rd Street looking west. One day, consumer photo software will have AI to count the number of squares in this composition. For now, anyone care to guess? Another old barn photo? Yes! I will always stop to photograph an interesting, rustic old barn. Soon they will all be gone. Until then, I’ll continue to capture their weathered wood, patina metal surfaces, and rustic architectural features. For the best viewing experience, click to view a high resolution version.
