Behinds the ruins of an abandoned home, I found this cool, decrepit old greenhouse. The poison ivy prevented me from getting any closer!

This is the kind of stuff I love. A very nice capture through the old door frame.

Thank you. Abandonment and decay always catches my eye. In addition to the weathered textures and patina surfaces, there is the wonder of “what happened here?”

Awesome image Sam 👍🏻 I always wondered why poison ivy is so prevalent when I explore any abandoned structure. KPPC (Kings Park Psychiatric Center) which is an abandoned site on Long Island is loaded with poison ivy. These days KPPC is almost all torn down being NY state is repurposing the land and incorporating the site into Nissiquogeue River State Park.
