Contemplating the Chaos

Black And White Photography, David Jensen, Photography

A lone surfer stands alone at the edge of chaos on this cool, snowy morning in early November on Lake Superior’s north shore.

More Lake Superior surfing shots and my other photography can be found on my website and my blog.

Cold, Cold, Cold

Just looking at this image gives me chills. An icy cliff face at Gooseberry Falls State Park on a typical northern Minnesota winter day. Temps in the mid-teens, wind gusts around 30mph, waves crashing on the rocks and snow blowing off the cliff.

More of my photography can seen on my website or my blog.

An old relic looking out on the lake and a ship awaiting it’s turn to load cargo.

Locked Up

NVM00026-Edit-Edit

There’s a tradition along the Lakewalk in Duluth where people leave a lock on one of the wooden posts by Lake Superior.  And, no, there is no ice on the lake now, this was taken in April.
