Fury

Black And White Photography, David Jensen, Photography

Fury

A solid northeast wind with all of Lake Superior to gather ahead of the gale means furious waves at the western end of the lake.  On Saturday, April 14th, we had such a day and it became a tourist event with all accessible locations crowded with sightseers…and lots of photographers.  At one spot there was even surfers.

Canon 5DS, Canon EF 28-135mm, ISO 50, 135mm, f/10, 1/50 sec.  Processed through Adobe Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro 2.

Dungeness is one of the most impressive Land -and Seascapes in the South of England, it’s rough and windy, but it is unbelievable beautiful, very unique…

Lost At Sea

IMG_0064-Edit

As I worked on this image I found myself almost getting a little seasick.  The churning, roiling water, the light and dark spaces, it brings up one of my greatest fears…drowning.

The Sentinel

Black And White Photography, David Jensen, Photography

Standing against the rhythms of nature, a lone sentinel braves the actions of the inland sea.
