Back in 2015 I found this gem on the backroads of Forsyth County, near Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I must have gotten busy and never got around to reviewing and processing. By accident, I came across it again a few weeks ago. I’m sure there are other forgotten treasures in my catalog. If only I had more time for treasure hunting!
This tractor has history in our family, my uncle has kept it running for more years than I can remember. It may not be new and shiny, but it still runs and still does what is needed in the apple orchard. Now that my aunt and uncle are turning the orchard over to another generation, I wonder what it’s future is.
Another image shot on my Nikon FM for a film class. I found this old tractor seemingly abandoned in between corn fields. Such a shame for this classic to be wasting away in a field, as though it had been put out to pasture.
What I love about photography is that it allows me to explore plenty of places I would not have had any reason to go earlier. When I go with my camera, the place where I go does not really matter because I know for sure I’ll find interesting things to photograph. It seems the more I’m heading nowhere, the more chances I have to find interesting things.
Here I found an old tractor on a beach. I do not really know what a tractor is doing on a beach, but I found it quite interesting.
