I mixed up the time of my meeting at the middle school and had an hour of free time. Seeing some benches under a tree, I walked over to enjoy this unexpected gift of time. As I sat there, I couldn’t help but wonder what happened to Nia, only 13 years old. It seemed appropriate to sit there quietly and think about how much comfort her parents must have gotten from the gift of this peaceful memorial place.
Two years ago in October, I was in the Saxon Switzerland with some friends. Despite the bad weather, I got some impressive images.
