City in Glass

Black And White Photography, David Jensen, Photography

It’s looking like November is going to be about images captured at Navy Pier in Chicago. I guess that shows just how much potential material was available while visiting there.

Nikon FM, Kodak Tri-X 400 film, developed with Cinestill DF96 and imported into Lightroom via Fujifilm GFX 100s using a Venus Optics Loawa 100mm 2X macro lens.

After A Sun Shower

Black And White Photography, Don, Photography

It was a cheery, sunny day in the spring. And then there was a quick shower; one little cloud, a minute or two and then done. We call them sun showers. Sometimes things don’t even get fully wet, like Philippi’s monument. The sides are mostly dry with some dark areas where the water slid down and created an interesting design. Serendipity can occur anywhere at any time, even after a rain shower in a cemetery.

Hogsmeade Abstract

Architectural abstract from a rooftop in Hogsmeade in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. On this family trip, I finally got around to shooting RAW files on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, my first attempt at processing raw files from my phone in Lightroom. Doesn’t match the quality of my Nikon Z8, but fits nicely in my pocket on a 3D coaster ride!

Cheers,
