I photographed this 300 pound bear at the Philadelphia Zoo.  Can you guess what he is made of?  If you guessed spark plugs you were correct!  The creativity in this world is astounding!

Please note, I only took a 50mm lens to the zoo and the space was tight, thus the reason you only see the head and shoulders of the bear.  It was actually a life-sized sculpture.

My wife and I thought it was adorable how all of these sisters were dressed alike and daddy bought them all ice cream.  I wish I was quick enough with my camera to capture the fifth sister just to the left of the baby stroller. Notice the sister all the way to the right is fixing her hair beret but keeps a close eye on her sister holding her ice cream 🙂

RAW file development with Adobe Camera Raw, Adobe Photoshop CC treated and converted to black and white with Silver Efex Pro.

I met this nice, well known chap while on a whistle-stop business trip to Slovakia last week. Our host walked us around the old part of town before dinner, and I managed to get off a couple of shots with  a Sony RX100 II borrowed from my wife.I converted to black and white in Niks Silver Efex Pro II.
