This was inspired by covid confinement. I am often told I look like my mother so I decided to do a double exposure to see if that is true. We were both in our mid-thirties in the images of us. The one of my mother is a photo I took of a portrait of her painted by her brother. I converted it to black and white. The one of me is a photo taken of me for the Baltimore Sun. I took a photo of it. I merged them.

I took this shot on the morning of 8/7/21 on Tilghman Island, Maryland. We had just returned from grocery shopping, parked the car in the carport and were ready to unload. It was our usual beautiful morning sky. By the time I got to the back of the car the sky these clouds appeared. I was lucky that I had a camera over my shoulder as things were changing rapidly.

This is a shot of our fourteen year old Havanese, Rio. He’s tired of me following him around with my camera and lets me know with his facial expressions.
