This panorama composite of 6 drone photos was captured over the saltwater marsh near the lighthouse at Oak Island Beach, North Carolina. In the United States, 400ft (122m) is the ceiling for flying drones. To capture this broader view, I captured 2 rows of 3 overlapping images to create a pano in Lightroom. I estimate this gives an equivalent 800ft (244m) view of the marsh.

I visited this abandoned house back in 2015 and shared several images in a post on my personal wordpress blog site. Today, I passed by the old home again and was glad to see it was still standing. The beauty of the late afternoon light streaming through the window is juxtapositioned with the neglect, decay and sad loss of a family home.

This old abandoned shed is on Shelter Baptist Church Rd near Crumpler, North Carolina.
Moore Cove Falls is a 50ft (15.25m) waterfall in the Pisgah National Forest near Brevard, North Carolina. The falls flow over an overhanging bluff that allows visitors to walk behind the falls. During my visit in mid-October, Moore Creek had dried to just more than a trickle. Nonetheless, the view was still quite beautiful.
