I always think that is is amazing to see such small hands that look quite old. I shot this wide open and I was really pleased with the result

Nikon D800
Model : Gaby´s hand 😉

After nearly ninety-five years these hands are getting a rest. They’ve worked hard on a farm, in an apple orchard, at a typewriter, fixed up many houses and so much more. They have earned their rest.

In my last Monochromia post I made reference to a photo of the door window, so I went looking for it. The window was higher than I could see from ground level so I did my best to line everything up by using live view on the back of the camera. All the black spots on the rear window are flies, there were hundreds of flies in the shack. My photography instructor had a thing for flies, he loved this image.
