Also known as iconostases Kandylakia are the Greek version of a wayside shrine. They are found all over Greece, typically on the curve of a mountainous road. They are erected to memorialize the spot where someone was killed or as an offering at the place where someone was miraculously saved.
As much as I love B&W, I do wish you could see the performers bright blue hair!
