…they said. However the last time I was here someone had removed the bumper (fender). Go on put your hand over the that part and tell me the shot doesn’t loose anything. So last time I was here I didn’t take any shots of it. As if by magic this year a bumper had reappeared. The magic has returned.

We were pulled over on a big curve while riding The Snake, and I saw this cross nailed to the tree.  Well, we all know what that means, yet I took the shot because I appreciated the simplicity of the memorial.

It wasn’t until I was preparing this post, that I saw the message carved into the cross.
