Tourists get a nice surprise hello from a local at the Venice Beach Skatepark. Despite being scared a couple managed to get their cell phones up for a “high quality” pic, at least I didn’t see an iPad photographer.

There was a time that Las Vegas was called “Disneyland For Adults”. Now it is merely “Sin City”. Either name is an insult! An insult to Walt Disney, an insult to sin!
Please stop by my personal site Photos By Emilio and say hello when you have a minute!

I took this photo almost four years to the day while touring London. I was so focused on the Bobby and his shoe that I didn’t see the Bobby and his machine gun 🙂

On Route 66, just outside of Kingman AZ where summer daytime highs reach above 90 °F (32 °C) frequently, but rarely exceed 107 °F (42 °C). It’s nice to have old time air cooling. Just throw open a window and watch the curtains stand tall and firm whenever a breeze refuses to blow.

Gone
I photographed this one a couple years ago and recently returned to find it had been burned to the ground. It is becoming common for people to seek out these old structures and torch them, which is unfortunate, and dangerous. If this was in a dry time of the year, the fire could easily have spread.
