In Flight
Black And White Photography, Jane, Photography

This is serendipity, just one of those surprise lucky shots that you find in a group of photos taken over the course of a day. I was down on the Texas Gulf Coast photographing shore birds. When reviewing the day’s take, I was delighted to find this fun shot of a piper seemingly walking away flapping its wings in disgust. Great shot? Nah. Fun shot? You bet!

This Blue tit wandered into Monochromia a few days ago.

Last weeks Nuthatch looking for food.

While eating my lunch the other day I got mugged by a flock of sparrows looking for crumbs. I think this little guy was the ring leader.

I photographed this beauty at the annual birding festival on Galveston Island along the Gulf of Mexico. This Yellow-crowned Night Heron flew over and perched in a tree right in front of us. See the twig in its beak. It is breeding season and nests need maintenance.

Soaring

One of my earliest photos in street photography. And yes, it was my leg 🙂
