Criss-cross

As I sit in the booth waiting for a radio call from a boat wishing to enter the slip, I’m often drawn to the merging patterns of the bridge and convention center across the street.  On the water it would be confused waves, here it’s a lot of interconnecting lines going every which way.

The Montauk Point Lighthouse is located at the eastern most point on Long Island or as we Long Islander’s like to say “The End”.  It was completed on November 5th, 1796 and was the very first public works project in the new United States of America. Next stop east would be the UK.

A test shot really, however. Tintin is still a boyhood hero of mine. No matter how un-PC he is today. I still re-read his stories and still enjoy them. Here he is in a kilt as in the Black Island.
