Opened in 1941, the Main St. Bridge crosses the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida. It was renamed in 1957 after former Mayor John T. Alsop and remains a feature of the Jacksonville skyline. The center span lifts to allow large boats to pass under. I shot this at 170mm to achieve a compressed architectural abstract feel. The Florida, Fuller Warren Shared Use Path runs next to the I-95 southbound side of the Fuller Warren Bridge over the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida. Below the bridge on the north bank of the river is the wonderful Riverside Arts Market.
