Saxon Switzerland

Andre, Black And White Photography, Photography

Two years ago in October, I was in the Saxon Switzerland with some friends. Despite the bad weather, I got some impressive images.

D-Day 2016 – Ouistreham – Normandy

Black And White Photography, Joerg, Photography

I took this picture on the 6th of June 2016 (D-Day) at Ouistreham Beach – Normandy (Sword Beach). I crossed the channel with the night ferry from Portsmouth (UK) and got on Land at 6:00 in the morning. I walked down to Pegasus Bridge with a 30 kg Backpack and returned to the Beach in the afternoon, where I met some French Soldiers (Commandos maritime), we talked a bit, while they got prepared for the ceremony. This photo is dedicated to Coffee at night, running for Cigarettes and my Chief Nurse Major E.L Giles, you saved my life on a 3rd of January.

Thanks for not forgetting  … I  hope we will see again one day and talk.

Late Night on a Pier

Black And White Photography, David Jensen, Photography

It was a dark and gloomy night, the air thick like soup.  The lights carved a path out onto the pier, guiding my steps to a destination lost in the fog…

Fall in the Pacific Northwest

Black And White Photography

20161125-0n8a7103-edit

I love the way the fog hangs in the trees in the Pacific Northwest.  I’ve been trying to capture a good shot for quite some time but finding the right fog to tree ratio isn’t as easy as it seems.  Hiking along Eagle Creek I finally got a good unobstructed view.  I can get lost in the layers of trees and fog.  SMB-Photo.com
