Last weeks Nuthatch looking for food.

I thought this week I’d post a bit of fun. Yes it’s not entirely in focus. It’s a reject, or maybe comedy gold I don’t know. It’s like everything we do in this wonderful hobby of ours, we have to please ourselves first, and then our audience.
I’m amazed my camera picked this fleeting moment. For the birders amongst you it is a Nuthatch.

Another from my holiday in Holland.

I came home late, and had to get up early the next day. However did I go straight to bed?… well no I didn’t when I saw the moon like this and a new lens just out of the box screaming to be used… well lets just say I got to bed even later. The result however was my first try at astrophotography and a very tired man a work next day.

While eating my lunch the other day I got mugged by a flock of sparrows looking for crumbs. I think this little guy was the ring leader.
