I made a turn onto an unknown rural road a came across this lovely sight.

I’m always on a quest for a new road to shoot.

I have begun the process of releasing my husband’s ashes into bodies of water he knew and loved. This one was done in Ocean City, Maryland on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. I etched some words and a heart into wet sand and sprinkled some ashes in the heart. One of his nicknames for me was “rosebud” so I placed some there as well. Then I waited for the surf to take them out to sea.

Taken at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument in St. Augustine, Florida.

Taken during a snowstorm in Baltimore several years ago.

Taken one frigid day in 2016. Night Shift is a “gentleman’s club” located in an industrial area of East Baltimore. Shot with a Fuji X-T1 and the Fuji 23mm f/1.4. It’s the closest I will ever get to a strip club!

Once I arrived at one of my favorite locations to shoot in the Baltimore area, Loch Raven Reservoir, I realized I forgot my camera bag. Thank goodness for my trusty iphone. As they say, the best camera is the one you have with you!
I cannot resist shooting roads on a foggy, misty day. There is something about the silence that attracts and calms me.

Taken one morning as the sun rose in East Baltimore. I had this usually busy tourist attraction all to myself. It was beautiful and eerie at the same time.
