One of the stops on my trip west this year was a return to Devil’s Tower. Although I have been there before, I couldn’t resist another visit to this unique structure.

Hidden from view as you drive along the highway in Wyoming is a small slice of badlands called Hell’s Half Acre. It has historical significance due to it being used by the indigenous peoples who would drive bison in to the canyon for harvesting. If you’ve ever been to the badlands of South Dakota, you would feel like you are in the same place.
