It’s amazing the life post-processing can bring to old jpeg files. I took this photo in 2010 with my Nikon D90 and kit lens, before I knew anything about photography (can we talk about cutting off the steeple?). But as I worked on it, Paris came alive before my eyes. And I was transported to the cafe where we spent a wonderful mid-afternoon break people-watching against the backdrop of Pont Saint-Louis and Notre Dame. J’adore Paris!

To learn more about this image and to see it in color, visit my personal blog: Robyn Graham Photography I’d love to know your thoughts on the black and white image compared to the color image.  Some might say sunsets are like flowers and they should be photographed in color…I believe they can be compelling and thought provoking in both color and black and white.  Thoughts?

Another old shot. This was taken in Denmark back in the 80’s with my good old FM2 and a Sigma 28mm (Remember when they made manual focus lenses?)on some Kodak T-Max  film which I developed myself. When you read this. I’ll be in Denmark for a weekend visit. So this is quite apt.
