The adventure of driving a backroad in rural Wisconsin during a blizzard. Happy to note that many hours later, after getting stuck only once, we arrived safely at our destination.

Sometimes a group of objects will grab my attention. And not just the objects, but also the light and shadow interplay with the group. This group was on the sidewalk as part of a store display along the Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The various shapes, lines along with the light and shadow made me stop and spend time with the collection.

On my recent outing for #optoutside, I visited Banning State Park in northern Minnesota. This is part of a structure that served those who worked in the rock quarry. The clouds were a nice bonus and added a bit of extra drama to the image.

It bothers me that there are people who think any blank space can be their personal bill board. Such lack of respect for buildings, especially historical sites, is hard for me to comprehend.
