This was sculpted in 1889 by Norwegian artist Stephan Sinding. Given the way the world is at present this could almost be a scene today. Enough said.

If you stand around Edvard Munch’s painting of the Scream for more than a few minutes you will see endless tourists do this in front of it. This Japanese guy was playing to the crowd. Watched by nervous security guards and… me.

One of my favourite places to take pictures (Not the ones on the wall I hasten to add) are art galleries people stand for ages and stare, and think. I do too. However I do find the people more fascinating than the paintings at times.

Please excuse me dear reader. This is my 2nd shot of William I have uploaded to Monochromia. I hope being a Grandfather for the first time gives me a little leeway.
I always think that is is amazing to see such small hands that look quite old. I shot this wide open and I was really pleased with the result
