I’m sure many of you have heard the term George Washington slept here before. This is Sagtikos Manor in West Bay Shore Long Island and according to George Washington’s diary he actually did spend the night here during his tour of Long Island in 1790.

Construction of this Canadian national historic site began in 1823 and today nearly 200 years later, the Notre-Dame Basilica, located in Old Montreal is a much venerated and constantly busy historic landmark dedicated to Mother Mary that is an architectural marvel
