It seems of late I have either been photographing people or flowers.  I wanted to do something unique this week so I took inspiration from a site I follow on Instagram called “@LovelyDeadCrap”.  I didn’t just go out to photograph flowers, which are bountiful in my yard right now, I wanted to find something unique to post.  Here you find the pentagram center of a rose that has lost it’s petals.  Did you know that is what the subject in the image was?

Next I needed to come up with a title.  I couldn’t just call it two stars so I began with my language of flowers resources and found that the pink rose represents thankfulness.  That just didn’t seem enough.  So I went on search for the meaning of stars.  I found a great website that reviews the history of stars, which you can find HERE.  I read about the meaning of stars and was fascinated with the history and meanings.
