What started out as a photo of the reflection in the mirror, became something totally different. Edges began to blur, light became liquid and reality was open to interpretation.
Camera: unknown, original settings: unknown, artistic effects done in Photoshop, further tweaking in Silver Efex Pro 2 and finished in Lightroom CC Classic.

One of the gorillas at the Como Park zoo in St. Paul, Minnesota. I can’t help wondering what he is thinking as we all stand around and stare at him as he stares back at us.

Under normal lighting, this boardwalk is pretty tame. However, with a little post processing, it becomes a bit more sinister.

Late evening along the St. Louis River as it flows through Jay Cooke State Park in Minnesota. This beautiful park is home to amazing rock formations, rapids and waterfalls. A trip across the famous swinging bridge will take you to several vantage points to view the river and allows access to hiking trails in the park.

The river creates the patterns, the photographer documents and adds human touches to the creation. Taken on a small eddy on the edge of the St. Louis River near Duluth, Minnesota.
