If you stand around Edvard Munch’s painting of the Scream for more than a few minutes you will see endless tourists do this in front of it. This Japanese guy was playing to the crowd. Watched by nervous security guards and… me.

High Bridge

High Bridge Trail is a 31 mile Rails to Trails pathway located in a Virginia State Park of the same name. The bridge itself is 2400 ft long and rises 125 ft above the Appomattox River. Built in 1883, the High Bridge is the longest recreational bridge in Virginia and among the longest in the nation. The bridge is listed as a Virginia Historic Landmark.

Eagle In Profile

I saw this magnificent bird at a zoo in Colorado. This bald eagle is a rescue and has been in captivity for several years. But living in a structured environment does not seem to have affected its dignity and imposing bearing. It kindly posed in profile long enough for me to take this portrait.

Singing Her Heart Out

This image was taken at the Village of Babylon Block Party on on the evening of 8/11/2022. I was struck by the talent of this young lady especially her vocals. She was phenomenal. Image was taken with a Fujifilm X-T4 and XF 70-300mm WR lens.
