Nikon F100 and Plus X Pan Film – This is an image of my wife Terry that I took 21 years ago. She’s still every bit as sweet as the day I took this 😊

Black And White Photography, David, Photography
I think I saved the best until last. Tore in his workshop. A real nice guy with a fun loving disposition. He said “If you’re going to take a picture I’ll have to look serious”.
I printed this shot, as I have the others in this series and given them as a thank-you getting in front of my lens.
I hope you enjoyed the series as much as I enjoyed making and sharing it with you.

Taken on the same coffee break as last weeks shot. Rodger was too cool to pose for me instead I took this shot when he leaned over to see what I was doing. I think it worked better in the end.

This shot like last weeks was taken during a coffee break. I love what the wide angle lens can do to a portrait. Tor-Haakon is a really friendly guy, and I think this show in this shot.

Bjørn Tore is usually a lot more active than this shot shows. I took this shot of him during a coffee break. I broke most of the rules of composition because I wanted to include the workshop.

@work Anders
Black And White Photography, David, Photography
I said some weeks ago that I will be getting back to a more analogue way of doing things. This involved me lugging around( with smile on my face I might add) my Hasselblad and a 40mm lens. I did a series of lighthearted – lets call them snaps some years back I called @work. Just taken at work of people I could persuade to get in front of the camera. So this is a repeat of that. Anders is a much better photographer than me so I was pleased he didn’t mind me taking this shot of him during a break.

I still believe…

I still believe that film is the best medium for black and white. Maybe I’m a luddite. Ironically this was shot on my Leica M9P. However I still shoot film, although at the moment I have a big box in my freezer cozying up to some fish and a couple of frozen Haggises (Or should that be Haggai). I keep making plans to have a rummage it’s just I haven’t got around to it this past year. But never fear I will get around to it …some day :0)
