On Monday, I found an hour of free time and decided to use it to meet a friend, and also to find the shot that would be my contribution to Monochromia for the week. Unfortunately, it wasn’t long before I realized that I’d left my camera back at the house. What? I rarely go anywhere without my camera!
As I walked down the sidewalk to the Pizza House, I looked up and saw the street light shining on the brick wall, and knew that my cell phone camera would have to do.
Imagine:
Early winter morning, clear sky, bright sun, music cranking, cellphone shooting.
I’m counting on Joe to get the title.
This little guy perched long enough for me to take several shots. So fun!
I know, I know … it’s the best title I could come up with at 11pm
They were so intent on their conversation and their ice cream. I would love to have known what they were talking about.
This was the sky that met me as I left the beach on the bike a couple weeks ago. Even though the rain threatened (and eventually soaked me), I could not resist stopping to take the shot.
Seriously! That was the name of this beach house. I guess it does look a bit imposing to the houses next door.
Hello from Nags Head, North Carolina! You may have heard that just a couple weeks ago, there were several shark attacks along the Outer Banks of NC. We’ve not seen one fin yet, though.
This little fella kept my shutter finger busy. What a cutie!
Contract negotiation, campaign work, and FINALLY getting a break have kept me from checking out your work this week. Soon though!
In monochrome, this fence looked more like an abstraction. I actually liked the soft, subtle colors in the original as well.
