One from a trip to Svalbard a few years ago. This is the disused bucket-way that ore was transported all over Svalbard to waiting ships.

You could take this type of shot in many cities around the world. I just happened to be in Shanghai. I love the fact that her eyes are closed in this shot and, that wonderful expression. Even her carrier bag sends a message .

Not much PP except the B&W conversion. I just cropped a little. I didn’t bother to straighten it either, I liked the angle.

This Madonna and child stand on the top of a hill 3,347 feet above sea level. Just over an hours walk will get you to the top of this mountain. As thanks for your pilgrimage you get to see this wonderful statue of the Madonna Child.

I met this nice, well known chap while on a whistle-stop business trip to Slovakia last week. Our host walked us around the old part of town before dinner, and I managed to get off a couple of shots with a Sony RX100 II borrowed from my wife.I converted to black and white in Niks Silver Efex Pro II.
