Ok I have a little weakness. I do enjoy a whisky now and again. My last one was 3 weeks ago at a whisky tasting in Oslo. I will at least share the picture I took with you. However I’ve still some Monochromian’s I’d like to raise a glass…or two with.

I usually shy away from using HDR. I’m not really a fan. However I do think some shots are worth the effort so to speak. This is a shot I took in Sweden a few weeks ago. I love the bikes and, the signs on this hut. I’ll leave you to use Google translate to find the meanings. Happy hunting.

Not quite”It” but I’m calling this “Maybe”. This loving couple caught my eye outside a restaurant on the Swedish island of Koster. They are really an advert for Ice-cream.

The light from my reading lamp falling on my pillow caught my eye while getting ready for bed one evening this week. It’s another of my “Things that go unnoticed series.” So look around you.

One of those moments in the everyday that come to life when frozen in time. In this case 1/15th of a second. Blink and you would miss it. It’s a contradiction I know but the camera helps us see these magical moments. especially between people deep in conversation. That’s one of the things thats keeps me taking pictures.

I spent last weekend bobbing up and down in a sail boat between Norway and Sweden. This lighthouse is a well know landmark in the mouth of Oslo fjord. Every year there is a race from Oslo to sail around it and back to Horten.I thought it looked quite dramatic with the rain clouds behind it while we were sailing in perfect sunshine.

On the ferry

These people caught my eye on the way home to my sisters house via the local ferry. This picture, in my eyes has something. I have a picture (below) taken a few seconds before where the guy on the right isn’t leaning. It just seemed boring. This shot has something more. A kind of intimacy that didn’t exist in the other shot. However that is up to you to to decide.

Here’s the other.
