This is one of those shots I just saw while in a café in Belgium this past weekend The light was just right streaming through a large window on an overcast day.if you look you’ll see all the texture is there in this ladies skin. As I said I have no idea what to call the shot. It just fascinates me and, I hope it does the same for you dear viewer.

This house is on the local beach near where my sister lives on the south coast of England. It was a dull and very overcast day with sporadic rain, and lots of wind. I’ve said before that I’m not too good at landscapes but at least I haven’t given up trying to improve ;0)

That’s not me . It’s a shot I took 4 years ago in Martinique in February. It was minus 20 degrees C in Norway at the time. That 10 days in the sun was really worth the effort.

Which reminds me that my annual holidays are coming up so I’ll see you all in September.

I hope you have had,are having or,will soon be having some time off.

See you all on the other side 😉

Rain Stopped Play

I have a confession to make. As I wrote last week I was going to the Bi-annual Viking market at a local town. However the weather beat us back even before we got half-way. The heavens opened and, we had torrential rain. So we beat the retreat and will try again in two years time. Until then this is a shot I took 4 years ago at the same event. Vikings waiting to go into battle …once health and safety checked that the grass wasn’t too wet :0)
