Not Quite Aladdins’ Lamp

Black And White Photography, David, Photography

I saw this old oil can in the workshop at Kistefos. I just had to take a shot of it in the sunlight from the window. It was just left there ready to use.

Another favourite from our trip to Kistefos this wonderful sculpture by IIya Kabakov.
I must say that I can identify with this sculpture, more than I would like to admit.

The Twist up close and personal. Even though a lot of this art gallery’s content left me wondering why bother to collect it. The Twist itself is a wonderful building to my mind this was the real work of art I’d come to see.

This is a heavily visited attactraction in a national park about an hours drive from our house. Although it looks really oldies not that ancient really; it was built with stones from the beach in 1932.

I had to do a fair bit of photoshopping to remove the people but the end result looks ok to me.

Doing the Twist

The Twist is an art gallery about an hours drive from my home here in Norway. I have had plans to photograph it for a while now, but never got my act together to do anything about it. Well, what with all my travel plans for the summer abandoned I had to seek inspiration closer to home.
