The Old East Bath House ticket booths at Jones Beach, Long Island Circa 1929.  Back in the day bus loads of people were dropped off just to the left of these ticket booths early in the day to insure a good spot on the beach. To this day Jones Beach is one of the more crowded beaches.

Ready for winter. When the owners of this beach hut shut their doors for the winter they didn’t just lock-up and, go home. They added some decoration. I really like that.

Watching

Couple views Santa Monica Beach from the pier.

The beginning of March brought a trip to southern California and a return to Santa Monica Pier. Arguably cooler than my summer trip, hardy souls still populated the beach while others were content to simply enjoy the scenery and storm-like clouds from afar.
