Another VW Beetle just rusting in peace the revellers are long gone and are now only a memory.

Meet Patrick. Patrick is studying TV and film production. He asked to borrow one of my old film cameras to use next week. With quite a few to choose from I’ve not sure what to let him borrow …Maybe my F4s that’s bomb proof. Have I helped create a budding media mogul. Who knows :0)

That’s what nature does when left untamed. This is where you’d see how things would be if we stop existing today. Nature would take over, a how soon.

Meet Cow…y. A sad looking car if ever there was one. Left to rot away in the Swedish woods, which has begun to decorate the inside tightening natures grip on this this vehicles fate.

From children’s story time last week to a darker sinister atmosphere this week . What nightmares lurk beyond dear reader?…

This shot just screams children’s stories. Just look at those headlights and the sad look they give. I took it at an angle to make it seem he or she is sneaking a look around the tree.

As the title says just a little shot taken at the junk yard on our last visit before Christmas. It serves really as a behind the scenes shot just to show a little of the process before the shots we take end up on the nett or hanging on a wall somewhere.

This is a shot of a derelict house at the end of a local road. It still looks a little lived in. It’s on private ground so I haven’t been inside. I think the people that own the house (They have another next door) use it as a shed.
I just love the peeling paint and the hanging bicycle.

David is a Brit living in Norway and I asked him to come on board at Monochromia shortly after I started following his photoblog. He is another prime example that it does not matter what equipment you put in his hands he will always manage to come up with a great image. He is an avid camera collector and he even makes his own film developer he calls “Caffenol” 🙂 This is one of Dave’s images that I just adore. He is a very interesting “bloke” that I hope to meet one day – Joe
